  1. Term: Phase I, which includes tax law, software and marketing training as well as office setup assistance will begin on the date the agreement is signed and the required documents are submitted. Phase II begins January 1, 2026, and continues through November 15, 2026.
  2. Renewal: Renewal of this agreement is optional and not required. However, if the Client chooses to renew and has met a minimum of 5 refund transfers or 10 e-files between January 1, 2026, and April 15, 2026 (Tax Day), no upfront renewal cost will apply. If the Client does not meet the minimum requirement, a $99 renewal fee will be due.
  3. Price: Client agrees to pay 1040 TaxStore a non-refundable fee of $99 for setup, training, and client services at the time of submitting a completed agreement.  Client may receive a refund if they cancel within 14 days of receiving login information.
  4. Service Cost:
    1. EFILES - For all non-bank product personal tax returns (electronically filed returns known as EFILEs) as well as for paper filed returns, 1040 TaxStore will charge the Client a service fee of $25 for personal and small business returns and $25 for corporate tax returns.  1040 TaxStore will debit the Client's account weekly for all accepted EFILEs.
    2. Bank Products - The Client acknowledges that for all Bank Products, EPS Financial will deposit the Client’s tax preparation fees into the Client’s account on a daily basis once the IRS has funded the return and EPS has collected the preparation fees.
      • The Client further understands that direct costs associated with third-party products will be added to the tax customer’s final fees. These costs may include, but are not limited to, refund transfer charges for non-cash customers, software technology fees, and service bureau fees. Such fees will be collected by the bank and remitted directly to the respective third parties. The Client is responsible for ensuring that these fees are clearly explained to the tax customer, as they are separate from the Client’s preparation charges and are paid to third parties.
